I had a great time speaking at PDN PhotoPlus/WPPI NYC, which took place in the enormous Javits Center in Manhattan the last week of October. It was such an honor to get to spend two hours talking to a talented bunch of photographers. And it's always fun to go back to my hometown.
A huge thank you to my main sponsor,
Fujifilm, as well as to sponsors
Richard Photo Lab and
Cypress Fine Albums for bringing me out to New York. I had so much fun hanging out with the RPL and Cypress gang, and loved running into friends like Karen Wise and Elizabeth Messina.
Another highlight of the week was being interviewed live on streaming video (!!) by one of the most amazing and influential women in contemporary photography: Jacqueline Tobin, Executive Editor of
Rangefinder, and the past editor of PDN. I also did a taped video interview for
DWF; I'll be sure to post that link when it's up.
Lastly, a big thank you to the fantastic
Sarah Peet who shot the first four photos below. (Last one from my camera phone - it was so cool to see my image on the Fujifilm booth!)
