I'm a San Francisco-based Fine Art photographer specializing in shooting film. I love creating images, and am honored to work with so many wonderful couples and families. As the year draws to a close, I've been ruminating on all the things that have made it a unique, amazing and life-changing one. Of course, there was a brand new chapter with the birth of my daughter Maya - but in such a monumental beginning I found a renewed inspiration in my art. I've rediscovered my connection to photography, what drew me to it at a very early age, what drove me to create images on a daily basis, what tangible pleasure I found and find from seeing the world through my viewfinder and snapping the shutter.

As I close the book on my 10th year in weddings, I am so grateful to what this industry has brought me: a chance to be an artist, to make images that are meaningful for my wonderful clients, and the chance to collaborate with fantastic visionaries in the event design world who create their own art in every wedding. I am looking forward to what the next ten will hold. Happy Holidays!

This beautiful summer wedding took place at the expansive Black Swan Lake, a private property in Napa. Chelsea + Scott were married by the edge of the lake, surrounded by friends and family. Jocelyn Arelt, planner extraordinaire, made the day flow smoothly, and floral goddess Kathleen Deery created a rustic palette that harmonized with the natural surroundings.

What a gorgeous day and the sweetest couple. Congrats you two!
